For your speakers. Native to Apple.

Every room. Every service. One app.

A fast, native controller for your Sonos speakers — on iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple Watch, and Apple TV. Search across all your music services at once, and control every room from anywhere.

iPhone · iPad · Mac · Apple Watch · Apple TV

One-time purchase. No subscription, ever.

Stop guessing which app the song is in.

Sonement searches every service on your system at once — Apple Music, Spotify, TIDAL, TuneIn — then merges the results into one list, grouped by type with the source badged per row. It's the part the official app never got right.

Every room, every device

Play, pause, group, and set volume per room or across the whole home. Grouping is a single tap. Shuffle, repeat, and crossfade, all where you'd expect them.

Try it — click a sidebar row

Now Playing on the big screen

Run the whole system from the couch on Apple TV. Every room, every source — and one Party Mode press to play everywhere.

Try it — tap Group Rooms, then Party Mode or a room toggle

On your wrist, everywhere else too

Apple Watch runs Sonement natively — Now Playing, Rooms, and Favorites, a swipe apart. And Now Playing lives on your Home Screen, Lock Screen, watch face, and Mac desktop as widgets and complications. One tap. No app launch.

Native Apple Silicon.

No Rosetta, no Electron, no wrapper — Sonement is Swift and SwiftUI, compiled straight for your Mac. Instant to launch, light on memory, easy on your battery.

Light or dark? The switch is up top.

A real Mac window, not a stretched phone screen

Resize it, snap it to a corner, or push it to a second monitor — the full queue, album art, and every room stay in view instead of just getting bigger.

Press play — it responds

“The official app was pretty good, but it always had its shortcomings. Sonement felt like a well-integrated app that fit my use cases straight away — I control my music from my Mac, iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, even the Apple TV. A remote is always within reach.”

Sonement — Privacy Policy

Last updated: 6 July 2026

The short version

Sonement does not collect your personal information. It has no accounts and no servers of our own. The app runs entirely on your device and talks directly to your Sonos system over your local network. Nothing you do in Sonement is sent to us, and we have no ability to see it.

Who this policy covers

This policy applies to the Sonement app for iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple Watch, and Apple TV, including its widgets (the "App"). The App is developed by codeframe ("we", "us", "our"). Sonement is an independent app and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Sonos, Inc., Apple Inc., or any music service.

Information we collect

None. We do not collect, transmit, receive, or store on any server of ours any personal information about you. Specifically, the App has: no account or sign-up with us; no analytics or usage tracking; no crash or diagnostic reporting sent to us; no advertising or advertising identifiers; no third-party SDKs that collect or transmit your personal data; and no tracking of you across other apps or websites. Because we do not track you, the App does not ask for permission under Apple's App Tracking Transparency framework.

How the App works

Sonement controls your Sonos system locally. It discovers your Sonos speakers on your own Wi‑Fi network and sends playback commands — play, pause, volume, grouping, and so on — directly to those speakers. This communication stays on your local network. It does not pass through any server operated by us, and we run no cloud service that your activity is routed through.

Information stored on your device

Some information is stored locally on your device so the App can function, and it is never sent to us. Music service credentials: when you sign in to a music service, the resulting authentication token is stored in the Apple Keychain on your device, where it is encrypted and protected by the operating system — we never see or receive these tokens. App data and preferences: your settings, favourites, and features such as your per-room playback history ("Rewind") are stored locally on your device. You can remove all of this at any time by signing out of the relevant service or by deleting the App.

Third-party music services

Sonement lets you browse, search, and play music from the services set up on your Sonos system or connected in the App — for example Apple Music, Spotify, TIDAL, and TuneIn. When you connect one of these services, you authenticate directly with that service, and playback streams through your own account with it. Your use of each service is governed by that service's own privacy policy and terms, not by this policy. We do not receive, store, or have access to your listening data from these services. Apple Music access is provided through Apple's MusicKit and is subject to Apple's Privacy Policy. We interact with these services only to the extent necessary to authenticate and to control playback on your behalf, at your direction.

Children's privacy

Sonement is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children — or, as described above, from anyone. If you believe a child has provided personal information to a music service through the App, please contact that service directly.

Your privacy rights

Because we do not collect or hold any of your personal information, we have no personal data to access, correct, delete, export, or transfer, and we do not sell or share personal information with anyone. If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, the rights available under the GDPR / UK GDPR apply to any personal data a controller holds about you; we hold none. If you are a California resident, we do not collect or sell personal information as defined by the CCPA / CPRA. We operate from Australia and handle the App consistent with the Australian Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). Any personal data held by a third-party music service you connect is subject to that service's policy, and you can exercise your rights directly with that service.

Data security

Because your data stays on your device, it is protected by the security features of your operating system, including Keychain encryption and app sandboxing. We hold none of your data on any server, so there is no server-side store of your information that could be accessed.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above and post the new version at this address. Your continued use of the App after a change takes effect means you accept the updated policy.
